This is a self-directed project called "Homemade food". This project documents three different kinds of food (baozi, roubing, and zaozong) made by my grandmother during my childhood, shown in cartoonized 3D model form. The stories that occurred between the food and me are depicted in the design of the food characters' expressions and movements, which are further elaborated through the text descriptions on the posters. This project expresses my love and emotions of missing toward my family and hometown food while I was studying abroad. I also aim to promote Chinese traditional food through my creative design and cute style of cartoon characters.
